TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is commonly used for pain relief during labour. The obstetric machines have a booster button to apply greater stimulation during contractions.

Contra-indications:

• Do not place electrodes on a pregnant abdomen

• Do not use if you have a pace maker or other implanted electrical device

• Do not use for undiagnosed pain - always check first

• Check with your health professional if using before 35 weeks gestation 

Note - This machine can be shared between friends but each women will require her own electodes which are compatible with All Care TENS electrodes (size 5cm x 10cm)
