NICOL RANGER

Physiotherapist

Nicol qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1995 from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK. She has worked as a Women's Health Physiotherapist since 1997.

Moving to New Zealand in 2000 Nicol initially worked in Rotorua, both in private and public practice. Nicol was employed at National Women's Hospital for 15 years as a Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.

Nicol studied Western Acupuncture at AUT qualifying  in 2003.

Attending regular courses and conferences, Nicol maintains up to date evidenced based practice. Nicol is a member of the New Zealand Physiotherapy Society as well as their special interest group for Pelvic, Women's and Men's Health. 

​

Nicol has a role teaching 'Physiotherapy for Incontinence' at Auckland Medical School.

​

Nicol has been invited to present at two conferences, speaking about Physiotherapy for Perineal Trauma and Physiotherapy for Chronic Pelvic Pain.

Nicol is hugely passionate about this area of physiotherapy,  her goal is to empower Women and Men to effectively self-manage their pelvic health.

​

Outside Physiotherapy Nicol is married and has 2 children. She enjoys  mountain biking, yoga and exploring New Zealand's beautiful outdoors.
